Your plan and guest names
Everything you type in (tables, guest names, your names and date, stage, cake and other room features) is saved only in your browser, using its local storage. It is not sent to us or to anyone else. If you clear your browser data or use another device, the plan is not there.
The seating chart and the "Find your seat" list are drawn in your browser too. The picture files go straight to your device.
Share links
When you tap Copy link to share, the whole plan is packed into the link itself, after the # sign. Browsers do not send that part of a link to our server. But anyone who has the link can open the plan and see the names in it, so only share it with people you trust.
What our server sees
To show you the website, our server receives the normal technical data every website gets: your IP address, the time, the page or file requested and your browser type. We keep these server logs for a short time, only to keep the site safe and working, and we never use them to build profiles. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in running a secure website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
The site runs on a server in the EU rented from Hostinger, which processes this data for us under a data processing agreement. Fonts and images are loaded from our own server, so no third party sees your visit.
Things your browser remembers
- Your plan, so you can continue later.
- Light or dark mode, if you picked one.
These are stored only on your device, are needed for the app to work as you expect, and are never read by us. You can delete them at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser. We set no cookies.
Your guests' names
A guest list is about other people. You use this planner for your own wedding or event, and the names stay on your device, so we never receive or process them. You are responsible for the names you enter and for who you share your plan link with.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask to see, correct or delete personal data about you, object to its use, or ask us to limit it. Because your plan never reaches us, we usually hold nothing about you except short-lived server logs. Write to tassh@studio-merlin.com and we will reply within one month.
You can also complain to the Slovenian data protection authority, the Information Commissioner (Informacijski pooblaščenec, www.ip-rs.si), or to the authority where you live.
Children
This planner is meant for adults planning an event.
Changes
If we change how the planner handles data, we will update this page and the date at the top.
